World of Warcraft Mage Guide Updated February 22, 2008 06:34 AM
The World of Warcraft Mage Guide got a complete rewrite. The new guide replaces the current version of the Mage guide and is now up-to-date with the latest patch. Major changes include new content as well as updated information on existing topics. The guide starts off explaining the basics of casting, types of damage, group support, mana and threat management for both solo and group play. The PVP section is updated with strategies for fighting against other classes, and information on battleground and arena tactics. The talent section gets a major overhaul and now includes an analysis and discussion of each talent. Along with it, the author recommends 15 new talent builds covering all the playstyles: Frost, Fire and Arcane as well as PVE and PVP.
The author also added in more details for the leveling walkthrough from level 60 to 70 and added a new chapter on useful add-ons and macros. The equipment section was revised to provide a recommended list of weapon and gear sorted by level. Last of all, the gold making tips were rewritten and sorted by level so players at all level can benefit from the tips.
Customers who have already bought the Mage guide or the World of Warcraft bundle can start downloading this update from the member area. For others who do not have access to this guide, this is a good time to order.
