WOW Expansion Named, New Class/Race Will Be Coming

The first day of Blizzcon 2011 had the announcement of the new World of Warcraft expansion, known as Mists of Pandaria.  The expansion will come with a new playable race from the new maps, the Pandaren.  As it sounds, they are a panda-like race of humanoid bears.

The new Pandaren race will be monks and the new expansion will include the following adds:

• a Pet battle system
• a new talent system
• PvE scenarios will be added
• Pandaria will be the first part of a new continent
• Level cap will increase to 90
• Some dungeons will become challenge mode

More faction and similar battle will be added and the WoW team has said that the first set of adventures in Pandaria will be in the Jade Forest and surrounds as the new continent is introduced.
