WOT Update v7.1 Releases, French Tanks Now In-Game

Wargaming.net has released the v7.1 update just weeks after the massive v7.0 update hit servers.   This new update brings the French line to World of Tanks, beginning with 18 light, medium, and heavy metal monsters from tiers 1 through 10.

The update also introduces a few minor changes, including game mechanics updates such as a re-assessment of the Type 59 (the game’s only Chinese tank) and a new type of auto-loading for automatic and semi-automatic guns (versus those requiring a loader).

Several damage models and other updates were also in the offing, bringing the game more into line with player feedback and economics.

Last, but certainly not least, current players active before the update released can use a special code to get a free garage slot and Tier II premium Russian tank, the Light Mk VII Tetrarch.  Find out more about that here.
