A staggered rollout of the World of Tanks big update to v7.0 began this weekend in Europe and then roll into the North American servers next week. The update patch includes a lot of new content and game changes, including some nerfs and many upgrades in anticipation of planned additions in the near future.
The biggest change will come with how servers interact with one another. Americans will now be able to access European and European and Russian players will now able to access the American servers. This will make for world-wide playing through multi-cluster technology.
A new camouflage feature has been added allowing players to purchase (through game credits or gold) cosmetic camo for their tanks, with various options available by nationality and individual machine.
Recorded battles and screenshots will now go to a specific folder rather than ending up in different places depending on your operating system and configuration. This will end a lot of confusion for those who want to capture game content.
Finally, two new maps, Marsh and Fjords, are coming along with several bug fixes and game balance micro-nerfs to some machines.
