Wargaming.net has announced that the soon-to-release patch, v7.0, will deploy with several new features including new tank skins that will

automatically morph to the terrain on the map. These “stealth tank skins” will make the game both more realistic and slightly more difficult as players try to see one another in a landscape that’s suddenly gone camouflage.
While the skins won’t necessarily change game mechanics, according to developers, it will at least add a new dimension of realism and visual spice to the game. Currently, tanks use the same olive drab skin on every map, which is unrealistic, says Wargaming.
This new look will have tanks in arctic paint for snow-covered landscapes, nation-specific camouflage greens and other colors for swamp, forest, and so forth. Desert cam will also be used on those maps.
Other changes include the addition of two new maps plus Clans will now have the ability to include their clan logo on their tank sides to showcase their team membership.
Meanwhile, development of World of Warplanes, slated to release next year, continues and Wargaming says that closed beta will commence “shortly.”
