The latest TERA Producer’s Letter from En Masse Entertainment’s Chris Hager has revealed new information about the testing schedule planned for North America. Some bullet point highlights:
- Bluehole Studio execs were recently in town to work with En Masse to set up the alpha/beta/launch schedule for TERA.
- Employees are playing TERA with Live Support in place. Next up for the alpha will be the implementation of the hotfix and client updating systems, QA and support team practice.
- Partners and other external users will be invited into the alpha in the next several weeks. Users will be selected from an internal database.
- A new account management system and a fully customized launcher/patcher system is being created.
Hager’s letter points out that Alpha testing is already underway, saying that it’s one of their main focuses with employees playing on the live server and testing live operation support. Practicing hotfix and client updates will be the next set of tests before going out to the world for beta.
