SWTOR Releases Mobile Security App

Star Wars: The Old Republic has a new mobile app for your smart phone.  Electronic Arts and Bioware have announced the Droid and iOS apps are now available from the Droid Marketplace and the Apple App Store as free downloads that can be installed and tied to the player’s current SWTOR account.

The app allows players to add a second layer of protection to their SWTOR account and is entirely optional.  It generates a unique, one-time passcode that can be used in addition to the player’s regular account password.  This keeps the accounts more secure from hacking, phishing, and other unauthorized attacks.
