SWTOR Launches Warzones System Page

Star Wars: The Old Republic developers have launched a Warzones-specific page to explain the player vs. player (PvP) aspects of the soon-to-launch game.  Screenshots show off the new revealed zones and videos and articles from the developers fill in more information.

Three zones: Huttball, Voidstar, and Alderaan have been detailed so far.

Huttball is probably the most-anticipated of the new additions to SWTOR.  It’s a dangerous new sport that takes place on the Smuggler’s Moon of Nar Shaddaa.  Overseen by Giraddo the Hutt, the game pits players against one another in a team game with no-holds-barred action.

Voidstar is a derelict Imperial Battle Cruiser that disappeared during the Great War and has been found again.  Both the Empire and the Republic are vying to control it again and wrest free its secrets.

Alderaan is a planet being contested by two powerful armadas from either side.  Laser cannons on the surface are the focal point of much back-and-forth between Imperial and Republic fighters.
