Rift Wants To Set World Wedding Record

One of the new features coming to v1.7 in Rift will be the marriage system.  This will allow players to marry in-game and Trion wants to use that to set a new world record for the most virtual in-game weddings in a 24-hour period.

The date set for the record attempt is Valentine’s Day (of course) and all players are encouraged to participate.  Wedding vendors will sell rings and scripted wedding events to those who wish to get hitched.

This could be a very cool day for Rift – assuming players bite and decide to participate.
