Rift – “Tell Us Your MMO Story”

The Tift development team wants to hear your best MMO story.  Tell them what draws you into the game, whether or not your character is “you” in real life, and what you love about massive multiplayers and RPG.  If they like your story, you might end up in print.

According to a post in the Rift forums, the dev team is looking for gamer stories to feature in a “media outlet” for non-gamers:

[Rift has the] “opportunity [to work] with a media outlet to contribute to a story about the real lives of gamers. This is an opportunity to tell your story and let the non-gaming world know a little about us and why we love our games!

Interested?  Head over to the forum at Rift and start typing!

But don’t tell some lame tale about your love of your Ascended and how it consumes your non-life.  Instead, Rift wants to know how gaming affects your real life:

“..we know what makes you tick in-game.  But we want to hear how gaming influences your real life!” (emphasis theirs)

So get over there and start writing.
