Rift Ashes of History LIVE Event Starts Today!

The newest Rift LIVE Event has begun today, October 12.  The Ashes of History event pits players against the slaves of Laethys and Maelforge (aka Wanton and Golden Maw) and sees an increase in fire and earth rifts across Telara.

Ashes of History will feature new daily quests, new rifts awarding players with Magma Opals (currency for the event) that can be used to purchase rewards that include rare and epic weapons, a glittering oreling companion, and the really cool Ash Strider mount.

The event is currently underway and available to all players.  Like most similar LIVE Events, it will likely last about two weeks.
