Perfect World Announces War of Immortals
The Perfect World team has announced the latest of their planned MMOs: War of Immortals. This game will feature in the PW interface as a massive multiplayer with faster game play and a lot of emphasis on player vs. player (PvP).
In War of the Immortals, the evil legions of Ragnarok have returned to Atlantis and players will find themselves in the aftermath of a great battle. With impending doom still at Atlantis’ doorstep, players must heed the call to action and take up arms. Only then will good have a chance to prevail over evil. As War of the Immortals implies, players should expect that the conflict has been escalated with more challenging content, larger scale battles and engrossing PvP.
The site for the game has gone online and gives an insight into the game. Beta testing is slated to begin as a closed session on October 25th.
Eight classes of character are available, including:
- Berzerker
- Champion
- Duelist
- Enchantress
- Heretic
- Magus
- Ranger
- Slayer
A tailored “Soul Gear” system will be used for magical arms and armor and the game will include guilds, territories that can be fought over, and even pets with souls. All set within the Perfect World interactive 3D environment system.
The thunderous drums of war have begun to sound! The War of the Immortals has reached its critical breaking point, and it will take every last champion in the realm of Motenia to turn the tide! The closed beta for War of the Immortals begins on October 25th!
