Fuzz Buzz Media has taken it upon themselves to launch a Hall of Fame website for massive multiplayers called, appropriately, the MMO Hall of Fame. Rather than accept public voting, however, the site will use votes from “ten well-known people from the MMO industry.” That is sure to cause controversy.
It appears that the site is mostly for marketing purposes, rather than as a shrine to games, as it features “specifics on each game as well as details on the companies, publishers and developers. It will also include games that have set the standards in their field, a comprehensive reference hub for finding games past and present, a Who’s Who list of industry notables, links to news sites, game companies, upcoming events and much more.”
You can visit the MMO Hall of Fame at this link.
