Bubblegum Interactive has launched its inaugural MMO game for children, Little Space Heroes, into open beta.
Adults can navigate their kids to the site, then the kids can create a character and blast off into adventure.
The child-safe MMO features a character customization system, a pet system, solo and team play. According to the Bubblegum press release:
Based on original IP, the game is set in a peaceful galaxy that was disturbed by the dastardly Lord Shadowbot. Cursed with a fear of the dark, this not-so-evil villain travels through the universe stealing sources of light. Arriving at our Heroes galaxy, he stole away the Glows, a curious light emitting creature with amazing powers.
The game is based in Australia and is free to play (F2P). The cartooney MMO features simple games, puzzles, and a lot of social gaming for kids ages 6-12. Bubblegum has controlled registration, language blocking, and safe chat option to keep the experience suitable for children.
Parents can sign their children up at LittleSpaceHeroes.com.
