Legend of Edda Going Offline, To Relaunch on 2012

GamesCampus will be shutting down US servers for Legend of Edda effective August 26th, while developer EYASoft revisits the drawing board to work on a completely revamped version of the game. Open beta for the reworked LoE is currently underway in Europe, and an early 2012 relaunch is planned for the US.

It was stated that due to extensive differences between the US release and the revamped version, a simple update was deemed impossible, leading to the temporary shut down of the US game servers.

As an apology to North American LoE players, GamesCampus is putting together compensation packages including refunds of spent and unspent in-game currency, as well as perks for those who may wish to try other GamesCamupus titles.
