Riot Games has announced that the Season Two Circuit for League of Legends will become soon. The event is a sports-style season of players versus players culminating in a regional and then worldwide championship. The games all take place at live events where players compete to gain Circuit Points.
Top Circuit Events are held in various parts of the world and players accumulate CPs until the Regional Championship in their area is held. This is a competition between the top CP earners in the region. Winners in each region then come together for a world competition with the Season Two Championship.
On top of the circuit beginning, Riot also announced that a new update will include Spectator Mode, which allows spectators (non-participants) to follow any team or player through the game (or jump between them).
Currently in beta testing, the Spec Mode allows lifting of the fog of war to view the entire battlefield, access to full in-game stats and item builds, and more.
