Fiesta Online Going Browser-based

Outspark has announced that their front line MMO, Fiesta Online, will be gaining a browser-based edition very soon.  The browser version will connect to existing servers and give players full access to characters, achievements, and so on.

A release date for the browser-based option has not been given, but Outspark says it’s in development and plan to go live with it sometime this winter.

The Web-based option will not supplant the game client, but will instead invite a larger bevvy of players to join in and will expand the game’s userbase.  Some players will find the browser play option to be less rich due to graphical restrictions or may get better performance through their game client while others may find not having a game client to make the game easier to play more often.
