Dungeons & Dragons Online Update 13 Will Prequel Underdark

The much-anticipated addition of the highly popular Forgotten Realms setting for the tabletop Wizards of the Coast Dungeons & Dragons game is getting close for the online rendition of the most-loved role playing game.  When Update 13: Web of Chaos releases in the next few weeks, it will bring with it the first undertones of Underdark to the Dungeons & Dragons Online game.

DDO will see the Update 13 patch soon, after which the game’s next big expansion will come sometime this summer, titled Menace of the Underdark.

This will usher in the Forgotten Realms-like setting planned for DDO for which players have been foaming at the mouth to play for weeks now.

The Chaos patch will add the ability for players to earn or purchase characters at level 7 to get a head start (a boon to experienced veteran players) and will be introduced to the Omnispell Dust and Stone replacements for the material components currently used in magic spells.  More new items will also be coming to the DDO store as Turbine beefs up the game in anticipation of Underark.
