DC Universe Online: Ra’s al Ghul’s Revenge

The developers of DC Universe Online have updated their site on content details for Update 3.  The storyline, known as Ra’s al Ghul’s Revenge brings a new quest series, a special event, customizable items for toon aesthetics, and some new modes for current content.

Ra’s al Ghul Mission Series

Ra’s al Ghul is determined to eliminate all “unworthy” people from the earth, as he begins a dark ritual that will purge the world of humanity.  His daughter, Talia al Ghul, seeks out the help of players to stop him from finishing the rite.  Four-team groups can participate in this alert.  New gear and items are available for defeating Ra’s al Ghul.

Special Event: Poison Ivy vs. Swamp Thing

Swamp Thing makes his first appearance in DCUO as he attempts to thwart Poison Ivy’s plan of controlling Gotham City’s residents and plant life.  Player heroes will side with Swamp Thing while player villains help Poison Ivy in this world event.  Players can collect event items to unlock new items, consumables and seasonal gear.

Other features include a hard mode version of Oolong Island Group Combat Alert and a duo option for the Two-Face mission series.
