BioWare’s Lead Writer Retires

Drew Karpyshyn, lead writer for BioWare (makers of Star Wars: The Old Republic and other MMOs), has resigned after working for the company for 12 years.  He says, in a blog post, that he’s retiring from the gaming industry to focus on writing novels and possibly screen plays.

Karpyshyn was co-writer on the Mass Effect 2 script and lead writer for the new SWTOR.  He’s currently in the process of writing the next SWTOR novel, which is still untitled.
