Another Guinness World Record for World of Tanks

Wargaming.net has announced that its flagship product, World of Tanks, has posted 250,000 players on the game’s Russian server concurrently, beating the game’s previous Guinness record for most tank players online at once.

The record, officially Most Players Online Simultaneously on One MMO Server, was re-set in November thanks to the game’s massive appeal in its homeland of Russia.  Coincidentally, this may have been the last chance for the game to break the record as it’s latest upgrades (v7.0) will move to multi-server technology.

The game’s massive appeal reaches across three continents: Russia, Europe, and North America.
