Aion 2nd Anniversary Celebration

NCSoft and its Aion team have announced the details for the game’s upcoming second anniversary celebration.  During the two week event, players will be treated to double experience (XP) and double drops.  Other surprises will also be happening.

Every 20 minutes spent in-game will reward players with Ascension Anniversary Tokens that can be traded to merchants for costumes, weapon skins, dyes, candles, and other cosmetic gear.  The drop rate for Insect Fossils will also increase during the event.

Several special events will also be happening in Aion.  Some in-game, others in the game forums.  These will include giveaways and prizes as well.  Including fall uniforms and sailor outfits!

The celebration begins on September 22nd and runs for two weeks (through October 5th).  Details are found on the Aion Online event calendar.
